Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards   

Soroptimist International of Harrisburg will accept applications for the Live Your Dream service award until November 15^th.  The award assists women in obtaining skills and education needed to improve their employment status.

An eligible applicant is a woman with primary financial responsibility for herself and her dependents, are attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program and have financial need.

Our club offers two awards:  The first-place winner receives $1,000 and the second-place winner receives $800.  In addition, the winner advances to the Regional and Federation levels to complete for additional awards.  Each year approximately $1 Million is disbursed through this project of Soroptimist International of the Americas.
